Nico Semsrott

Captain and Shroombringer Nico Semsrott of the Kingdom of Shroom, Disciple of the First Mycelium Order, was born a Daughter of the Soil around the late 1770s, with the exact date of birth highly debated. Known as the co-leader, co-founder and Shroombringer of the peaceful builder's guild "Kingdom of Shroom" (FUNGI), she rules over the Shroomian domain alongside her lifelong traveling companion and Sister-in-Soil, Lightkeeper m0th. A skilled artisan and architect, Captain Nico has been an integral part of the expansion and advancement of the Shroomian infrastructure and is responsible for the construction of many great Shroomian monuments and city districts, alongside a great number of vessels of the Shroomian Fleet.

The Shroombringer is believed to have been given to Semsrott due to her close relationship with the First Mycelium Order, a religious sect that reveres the power of mushrooms and mycelium. The title may also be a reference to Semsrott's abilities as a cultivator and spreader of mycelium, which is an essential part of the Order's beliefs and practices. The exact origin of the title is not known, but it is likely to have originated within the Order itself.

Early Life

Not much is known about Semsrott's life before her early adventures. Her date and place of birth, as well as any blood relatives or heritage are unknown, in part due to a severe case of amnesia affecting her early memories. Officially her birthday is signed the 07.07.1777.

Early Career

The exact start of Nico and m0th's rise to infamy can be pinpointed at their arrival in the city of Amberieux. Their goal of propagating their religious ideals and founding a Kingdom of prosperity, peace and generosity was clear, their path there however wasn't. In their uncertainty and struggle to navigate the wilds, a Valyrian (see: Valyria) commander called Gioacchino Murat stumbled upon the pair and took them into the city of Meereen, where they were welcomed with open arms and allowed to settle and gather their bearings.

Companions

m0th

Lightkeeper m0th is Nico's earliest and most dependable friend and travel companion. Brought together by circumstance and held together by a common devotion to the Mycelium and a drive to leave each town better than they found it, the pair of adventurers set out to explore the lands and seas of Aimera together. A close-knit duo, the two adventurers spent years venturing out into the wilds, spreading word of The Mycelium, and surviving in the treacherous vastness of the continent.

Lord Michael Briggs

Lord Briggs is another one of Nico's closest traveling companions, and became a devout member of the Kingdom of Shroom and the Deciples of Soil shortly after first crossing paths with the pair of Head-Shroomians within the bounds of the Endorien Empire during a delivery trip. Proving a loyal and dependable fighter throughout their journey across Nova Endoria, Nico and m0th agreed a rank of higher standing was in order, and Briggs was named the First Knight of the Mycelium. From there on out, he accompanied Semsrott and m0th in their travels and FUNGI's leadership evolved into a trio.
