| Starting out as a traveling fire mage, Kass journeyed across the continent in this new world, a land torn by warring factions and decades old carnage. Wanting to escape the war-torn lands, she found herself joining a small group of bandits known only as the Faceless. Unbeknownst to her, this gang of rag-tag outlaws had intentions beyond simply escaping the continent; their intentions were to take it over–-to save it from itself. Climbing the ranks within the outlaw gang, Kass and the Faceless began to grow rapidly. She learnt how to control her flames to do her bidding, and having come from an ignoble background, it was easy for Kass to remain unknown to the rest of the continent as she gained power. Within a year, the Faceless outlaw gang had grown into a full-fledged faction, fighting amongst the Titans that tore the continent apart. No longer a small, unprofessional faction of assassins and thieves, the Faceless–led by their long-time leader known only as Baghead with Kass by his side–won war after war, destroying faction after faction, gaining wealth and members day by day.

| Everything looked up for the growing faction…until treachery struck.
| |
| From within the Faceless’ most high ranking officials, an attack occurred. A rat without a name but with a rank capable of high entry led the enemy directly into the Faceless’ heart, bringing an attack in the dead of night. Taken by surprise, many Faceless members fell, and before long the battle moved to Kass and Baghead. They fought bravely, but there was no winning this war. Baghead fell.
| |
| Kass lost her right arm, and thus the fire she wielded with it.
| |
| By dawn, the carnage was over. The Faceless had fallen, the empire burning alongside the sun’s rays in the horizon. Kass, critically injured, abandoned her home and was forced to flee on foot. She did not make it far, and blacked out in the ashes of the continent.
| |
| What happened next, she remembers as nothing but a blur. Years passed and Kass had wandered from settlement to settlement, making friends along the way but never staying long enough to remain close.
| |
| One day, in the middle of a violent winter, the one-armed refugee found herself in the laboratory of an old friend. Eli was all he went by; he was an alchemist from the now-obliterated country. Finding it hard to stay motivated since the death of her former faction, loss of her arm and magic, Eli offered Kass a choice:
| |
| Remain one-armed and live out her days finding work where work would allow, or accept an experiment that Eli had been working on for years.
| |
| She chose the latter.
| |
| It lasted a week. On and off the operating table under a dim, wavering light–powered by nothing but a frozen generator during the blizzard raging outside–Kass finally emerged with a newfound metallic arm. Her severed tendons had accepted its new metal counterpart after hours of struggle, and when she moved the mechanical fingers and raised it to the light, a red gem reflected the dim rays back. It hummed with an unknown power.
| |
| Taking this freak situation as a second chance, Kass made the decision that she would put this war-torn world behind her and build a new land void of war and death. Leaving Eli behind, she traveled away from all she knew in search of this forever paradise.
| |
| | |
| Again on her own in a new, strange world, she continued her journey with the metallic arm and her slowly-returning flames to help defend herself.
| |
| That is when she stumbled upon the Valley. Here, the queen-to-be settled in a nearby cave, and began building her new world from the ground up.
| |
| On January 12th, 1798, Kass abandoned her old name and adopted Khaleesi. On this same day, she founded the Valyrian Freehold. As she expanded on her own, travelers found their way to her off promises of peace and prosperity.
| |
| Before long, a sprawling city was constructed, with a Council to guide the new Queen. The Valley was dubbed the Capital of Valyria, Meereen.
| |
| The Queen now leads her people in the continued construction of her ever-growing Kingdom within the new continent. With the fierce motto “Fire & Blood", Khaleesi’s mission is to ensure this new, magic-filled land does not turn into another war-havocked continent.

Character History
Many years ago, Khaleesi's ancestors boarded British naval ship in hopes of finding new land. What they found, however, would change the course of history as we know it; a portal destined to an entirely new world, which swallowed the sailors whole. Upon entering this strange universe, the portal sealed itself behind the travelers, condemning them to a fate away from Earth. Many years later, the settlers have discovered new technologies and struggled along the path of survival...
Khaleesi is one of their direct decedents.
