Even after years of living in the new world, the mere fact of its existance and its workings were still a mystery to the new settlers. The one thing they knew for sure, however, was that it was prone to changes, adapting to the needs and wills of its people. And as populations dwindled the world, as if overnight, flipped over. First, the oceans took everything. The cities once bustling with life, the islands, even the mountains were submerged by towereing waves. However the silence that followed was only short-lived. Soon, new islands rose from the sea, mountains formed, and somehow cities and ships appeared - some of them soon recognized from the old world, others new.

And once again, the settlers had to populate a new world.

Mercatore Paurini, also known as Fear or Feed is a Lord Protector of the [[Republic of Escaria]] and the Governor of [[Segalond]]

==Background==
Mercatore Paurini came to the CorsairCraft world in June 1799. Soon after, he started construction on the city of [[Segalond]] and joned the [[Republic of Escaria]], where he quickly climbed the ranks and became an Admiral and second in command to the Lord Protector [[Admiral Dewi]].

In August of the same year, after the Provinces of [[Andelin]] and [[Raynir]] seceeded from the Republic of Escaria, Paurini became Lord Protector alongside [[AdmiralDewi]]

The Valyrian Freehold is one of the oldest guilds on CorsairCraft, and is also the current largest. With multiple cities and dozens of members, Valyria is involved in most of Corsair's affairs and overall history, and continues to grow daily. The guild was formed on November 11th, 2021 by Khaleesi, and its main settlement is the capital city of Meereen, in the heart of the main continent. Valyria is known for its monthly tournaments that include jousting, horse racing, sumo-wrestling, and spleef, which are often open to every guild. Valyria has participated in many wars and overall events, and its motto is "Fire & Blood".

It exists among several powerful states in the [[Western Ocean]] and is situated in [[Barren Cove]], from which the [[Mycelium Triumvirate]] rules Shroomian territories. While the state is often referred to as a Kingdom, it is not ruled as a monarch, and is instead headed by a Triumvirate consisting of three powerful noble lords who hold almost all power.

The Mycelium Triumvirate has adopted a strict foreign policy stance of armed neutrality that started with the [[Attack on Barren Cove]] in 1799. In more recent times, the Mycelium Triumvirate has ordered an expansion of the Mycelium Navy, as belligerents have regularly attempted to intimidate the Kingdom and place demands on it.

yt_mikey came to the Corsaircraft realm on march 15th, 1799. Upon arrival, together with [[AdmiralDewi]], he sailed to the port city [[Katzenburg]], which is part of the [[Valyrian Freehold]].
Being seen as a threat by the Valyrians, he was soon killed by [[Joseph Radetzky]]. This angered yt_mikey, who came back with reinforcements from [[T0ED]] and KingDoggy_ by using TP abuse and speed exploiting.

However, the gods of the CorsairCraft realm were angered by his cheats and exploits and bannished yt_mikey from CorsairCraft.

== The Aftermath of the banishment==

Yt_mikey sought revenge and called upon a group called "The Amaterasu" (TA) to attack the [[Valyrian Freehold]]. Some TA members followed this call and came to CorsairCraft to form the guild [[Tokyo Manji]]. With some help from [[AdmiralDewi]], they built several small outposts around the Valyrian capital Mereen.
At the same time however, enemies of the TA joined the [[Valyrian Freehold]], such as [[Slastar]], .LostMikey, .sofiesparrow and imbuyandlazy.

In the aftermath of the following conflict, several [[TM]] members would also be banished for exploits.
